Aura Hot Yoga Studio

This place was my favorite but I have to say the owner is constantly changing classes and times and doesn't consider the clients schedule and their needs I recently took a class with Marybeth who was dry boring and slow. Not what I'm looking for in hot fusion. Terrible. I will never take her class again!

Great little (and growing) studio in Mattituck! There is a choice of classes in the mornings to fit everyone's needs as well as an evening class. Colleen, the owner, makes everyone feel welcomed and part of the community. The teachers are wonderful and have their individual style. Beginner or advanced, you are always offered options to keep your practice as challenging as you want it to be. It's also reasonably priced with package deals when you sign on for a month or a year.

Gosh, where to begin. I'm not a seasoned yoga professional, came to yoga just now, long overdue and late in life. Recommended to start gentle yoga by my beloved chiropractor to increase flexibility after a number of issues, and very nervous to walk in the door, took a deep breath and was dragged there by a friend. Couldn't be happier -- Colleen and team have been more than welcoming and understanding, they listened to my issues (not trivial) make recommendations and I feel like I'm part of a yogi community. There are tons of classes for different levels, so I tried a range and found the right instructor for me for now, and plenty of choice for later when I'm more capable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is laid back and fun. I got a really amazing deal signing up for unlimited classes for 6 months, and a month in, I have zero regrets. Go for it!
