Anchorage Yoga

This is a beautiful studio, very well appointed with a great staff. One of the best classes I've ever attended, and the space itself is really lovely.

I was also impressed with the front of house, how well is managed, and especially how quickly they got back to me when I emailed some questions I had.

I only wish I could go there more often, I was just passing through Anchorage that day. I will, however, whenever I'm in Anchorage, take a class.

I highly recommend this place.

I have been here a handful of times and each time I wish there was another hot yoga studio in town I could go to. The studio itself is nice and has nice amenities. There have been different staff members each time and they've all been rude and off putting, which is never a good look for a yoga studio.

If you're looking for the yoga studio that has literally thought of EVERYTHING this is your spot. They offer classes for every level of experience as well as a variety of restorative classes. Retreats, sound baths, weekend immersive educational workshops... gift shop, massage therapy. Like I said if your looking for a place to support you while you heal, evolve and connect to your divinity within through movement this is your spot. The owner has done an exceptional job at putting together the absolute best of the best to make up her team of teachers. The environment she has cultivated in her studio is second to none, you will feel supported and at ease.... able to connect and go within to find your own healing magic in every class. I often joke that her restorative classes will pull you right out of samsara... or in other words take you a few layers out of our collective inception. Book a class, I promise you'll be so grateful that you did.

Took my first "Flow 2 " class. It was hot, but exactly what I needed! I am so grateful to have found this gem. I recommend bringing a sweat towel. . You will shed your demons and transform into the better you!

The studio had a great sense of community as well. I will for sure be coming back here and look forward to trying out the other classes as well!

Attended many classes- never disappointed. Cold towels at the end of the hot yoga class are such a welcoming touch! Glad to see schedule reflecting seasonal changes! And looking forward to old good hot yoga with Rick on weekend mornings!

I love this studio! There are a variety of classes, incredible teachers, and impressive facilities. There is some type of yoga experience for everyone.

Do not buy a month of unlimited yoga from here.
They make you automatically sign up for debit autopay to get a few more bucks out of you on the sly. Before you know it, you are charged for a second month you didn't realize you signed up for.

In addition:
The partial Yin class I took was a less than satisfying. The instructor literally continuously talked THE ENTIRE 40 mins I was in the class, virtually. Her approach was distracting and didn't allow for the mind to quiet down and focus on the deep stretch a class of that type is supposed to provide. I couldn't even stay online for the whole thing because I just kept lying there, in my mind, going, "When is she going to stop talking and let me relax"?

Do not recommend.
In today's age of virtual classes, find somewhere that allows for some relaxation as advertised.

I was in town for a month and needed to find yoga. I've been practicing for about 10 years so I've come to appreciate a certain level of seasoned teachers that can challenge me. I took class pretty much every day I was there and loved each teacher and their unique styles. This is a top notch studio with excellent teachers. Trust me, I visited a lot of studios. The intro offer was a great deal! Mat & towel rental available, props offered, filtered water refill station, free locking lockers, showers, and easy parking. The vibe is calming with plenty of beautiful plants in the lobby. Thank you for creating this hot oasis, from a Texas gal who needed to sweat while in Alaska!
