On this very next day, he
settled while visiting my Mother-in-Law (big points!) and he settled outside while I chatted with a neighbor - and although he paid attention to his favorite mailman pulling over to fill a box and say, "Hi", he didn't hop up and try to yank me over and jump into the mailtruck!! Best of all, he settled down after starting his typical crazy barking at every window when a young family walked by! I positioned my feet, I positioned my hand on the window near his cheek, and I held his collar and nape. When he relaxes, I gave him the proudest "dough kneading" fingers I could muster 😆
