I have been training my dog for two years and plan to continue. I encourage people to continue training beyond a few months. The transformation is amazing. My dog was super exuberant in his personality although not aggressive. He needed continuous training. He is now more mature and the training has paid off. I think he is on his way to being able to earn a canine good citizen certificate! If he continues to be able to control his highly extroverted personality, I hope to train him to be a therapy dog. Thank you AAMD!! You really understand dog behavior!
