Alamo City Cryotherapy

I've been weight training pretty hardcore lately, and my trainer recommended Alamo City Cryo to aid with recovery. I have to say, I love this place! Jessica and Monique are super-friendly and make you feel so at ease. It's a little unnerving standing in a cryo chamber while the temps drop to -200 degrees, but the results are amazing! The ladies keep you company and talk to you while in the chamber, making the time pass quickly.

They are also offering Normatec compression treatments, which quickly becane my new favorite recovery treatment! This involves either upper body (arms, shoulders, chest and back) or lower body (legs and hips) for 30 minutes or 1 hour. I've been nursing a shoulder injury since June and the compression treatment made my shoulder less achy and more mobile - I was sold!

The customer service here is top-notch, and I will keep returning, especially for those Normatec treatments!!

I had done a Cyrotherapy session in Stone Oak last year with another company. Same machine, but the service I received today was much better. Their was a "friendliness" difference between he two companies. I found this company on Groupon, and I was glad I purchased the deal. They said they opened in January of this year.

You start out with a consultation after you sign some waivers. They then let you change into a set of clean socks, slippers, shorts, gloves, and a robe. Once changed, they let you inside the chamber for up to 3 minutes, with temperatures reaching below -200 degrees. It's crazy cold, but they keep you company, talking to you to try to distract you from the cold. Before you know it, 3 minutes is up, your adrenaline is pumping, and you are feeling amazing.

Really nice staff. Cryo is good--does what it's supposed to do, and the cryofacial boosted my collagen big time. The IVs are good too!

ACC is a great deal for complete athletic recovery. The staff was very friendly & accomodating. If I lived in town, I would definitely maintain a monthly unlimited membership.

Have you not been here yet? They have been open since January and have quite the following! Jessica and Monique (such a sweetie) make the customer experience memorable and comfortable. Cryo can make you feel quite rejuvenated once experienced, you may even become addicted to the after effects. They also offer a compression type therapy that is great on the legs. A must if you are nervous about the cold. Please stop by!

This is the best cryotherapy place there is! The ladies who own this establishment are total gems. They make the three minutes go by so quickly and enjoyably. Their infectious happiness is so contagious that even if you don't have the best experience you feel like a million bucks when you leave. The bonus is the cryotherapy! I have been going since May 2016 and I feel fabulous. I visit there times a week and run after my treatment 3-4 miles and I have never run better. My injuries are not an issue and I am running smooth and fast. I love my brain after cryo! It chases many of my depression demons away and I feel rebooted. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I will forever be a loyal customer!!

I have been going to Alamo City Cryo for a few months now and absolutely love everything about it. I feel wonderful and have recovered so much quicker from my long runs after sessions. The shop is very quaint and clean and the owners Jessica & Monique are the absolute sweetest ladies! I highly recommend this establishment to anyone & everyone!
