  • Actualize Sports & Fitness and its coaches have forever changed my life for the better. I signed up for a 12 Week Fitness Challenge last year primarily to strengthen areas I had been going to physical therapy for, in the hopes that it would expedite the healing process. Having never been a gym-minded person, I believed this would be a "one and done" event, 12 weeks and I would walk out the door and never return. A year later I have dropped significant weight, my BMI is the lowest it has ever been, and I have gain so much muscle! I have muscle in areas I'm quite certain have never had muscle before. I have developed and currently maintain a far healthier, much more active lifestyle than before. I am more consciousness of my nutritional needs, have eliminated all processed foods from my diet, and with the help and constant encouragement and support of my coaches, have added all the good stuff I can fit in there, and I feel GREAT because of it. I never feel the urge to "cheat", even a little, and have discovered this change allows me to increase portions in some regards, satisfying any urge to snack. The biggest change for me has been the over all feeling of strength. My body feels strong and capable. I no longer feel like an accident waiting to happen, and I no longer feel it necessary to curtail my activities because I am worried about injury. My legs can carry me through all the adventures in my life, and the rest of my body is fit and able to see me through any task that comes up along the way.
