Amelia, formerly a graphics designer, transitioned to Pilates following a shoulder injury during Yoga. Discovering the transformative power of Pilates, she pursued Romana's Pilates Instructor certification under the guidance of Sari Mejia Santo and Cynthia Shipley.
Amelia empowers individuals at all levels and abilities on their wellness journey. Through her compassionate approach, she guides clients to discover their inner strength.
As a certified Romana Pilates Instructor, Amelia passionately preserves its authenticity. She is committed to helping her clients not only achieve their fitness goals but also experience the transformative healing potential of Pilates as she did.
Fina is a Romana certified instructor. She trained under the mentorship of Sari Mejia Santo (Level 1 Instructor) and Cynthia Shipley (Level II Instructor).
Prior to her pilates experience, Fina was a piano instructor for 23 years. Teaching piano for a prolonged time had left her body asymmetrical, in addition to gaining chronic back pain after giving birth to two children.
Practicing pilates helped Fina cure her chronic injuries and it inspired her to become a certified instructor.
Fina seeks to be a teacher who shares proper knowledge and movement but also remains a student who expands her knowledge everyday.
Bora's Pilates journey started in 2016 after working in fashion for over ten years. Her previous job took a toll on her body, causing neck and back pain. Pilates became a game-changer and led her to change her career path.
She proudly holds a Romana's Pilates certificate from Lifespan in New York, where she learned from respected instructors Sari Mejia Santo and Cynthia Shipley.
Bora is dedicated to helping her clients with their Pilates journey, whether they want to get in better shape, recover from injuries, or improve their overall well-being. She connects with her clients on a physical, mental, and emotional level, offering a well-rounded approach to health and happiness through Pilates.
Luis is a second generation Master Teacher, proficient in all of Joseph Pilates' apparatus including mat work. Previously a professional dancer at the Ballet Concerto de Puerto Rico classical company, Luis was introduced to Pilates by the company director at the time, Lolita San Miguel.
By 2000 as Luis dancing career came to a close, he received his first Pilates certification from Meghan Jackson at the Pilates Body Center in Pennsylvania.
In 2009, he finished a rigorous, two-year Pilates Master Mentor Program (PMMP) under the direct supervision of his mentor, teacher and Pilates Elder, Lolita San Miguel, one of only three living first generation teachers at that time and student of Joseph Pilates!
Camilo is a former professional dancer with a BA degree in dance from Laroche University. He studied subjects which included training in movement anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology.
Camilo found Pilates through summer intensive classes while at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York in 2005. He began training with teacher trainer Victoria Torrie-Capan at Pilates on 66. Camilo furthered his Pilates training apprenticing at True Pilates New York under Sari Mejia Santo under the supervision of Cynthia Shipley, Jerome Weinberg and Nancy-Jean McNamara, and was certified through Romana’s Pilates.
Camilo takes great pride in helping his clients achieve their unique goals. He works with clients to help address individual needs by developing a plan that improves their overall health.
